Description

Broomfield BMX Track is a regional standard BMX race track in Broomfield Community Park near Herne Bay, opened in 2008 and run by Herne and Broomfield Parish Council with Broomfield Bikers Cycling Club.

The Track

  • A regional standard race track with a six-lane tarmac start hill, dirt straights and berms, used as a competition venue.
  • Opened in 2008 and managed by the parish council with Broomfield Bikers Cycling Club.
  • The parish council advises riders not to ride alone and to wear a helmet, knee pads and elbow pads.

The Club

  • Broomfield Bikers Cycling Club runs sessions and racing at the track, including beginner sessions on Saturday mornings. Check the club's Facebook group for current times.
