Description

Blacon Pump Track is an asphalt pump track on open green space in front of Blacon Adventure Playground in Blacon, Chester. It was built by Clark and Kent Contractors, and its flowing, rolling layout suits beginners and families as well as more practised riders on bikes, BMX, scooters, skateboards and rollerblades.

The Track

  • The track has a full asphalt surface with white line markings, built by Clark and Kent Contractors.
  • Its flowing, organic layout mixes rollers, berms and linked turns, with a grassed centre and several route options through the same space, so you can keep your speed without pedalling.
  • It is designed for riders of all ages and abilities, and shared by bikes, BMX, scooters, skateboards and rollerblades.

Getting Here

The track is on the open green space in front of Blacon Adventure Playground, off Kipling Road in Blacon, Chester (CH1 5UU), with access from the surrounding paths and the playing field. Lichfield Road, on the south side of the field, has a bus stop close by.
