Description

Bikey Brum Brum BMX Track is an old-school dirt BMX track tucked into a clearing in Milton Country Park, on the northern edge of Cambridge. Volunteers from the Cambridge Junior Cycling Club built it, and it is free to ride.

The Track

  • A looping dirt and gravel track with several lines of rollers and berms, built by volunteers. The club's sign calls it a cycle track and asks walkers to keep off the banks.

The Club

  • The Cambridge Junior Cycling Club runs volunteer-led British Cycling Go-Ride sessions in the park on term-time Saturday afternoons, for ages 5 to 10 and 11 to 16. Sessions are 10 pounds, or 6 pounds for members, and membership is 15 pounds a year. Bring your own bike, helmet and gloves. Prices are subject to change, check the website.

Getting Here

  • Milton Country Park, Cambridge Road, Milton, Cambridge, CB24 6AZ. The track is in a clearing west of the main park path.
