Description

Beach Park Pump Track is an asphalt pump track with a line of dual take-off jumps, set beside the skate park in Beach Park in the village of Oakley, just west of Basingstoke. It is free to ride and was rebuilt by On Track on the site of the village's old BMX track.

The Track

  • An asphalt pump track of rollers and berms, with orange painted edges marking the lines.
  • Alongside it is a line of dual take-off jumps with timber take-offs, for riders who want to move on from the rollers.
  • It was designed and built by On Track, a UK contractor that builds pump tracks and trails, and was raised by local residents and delivered by Oakley and Deane Parish Council.
  • It replaces the village's old BMX track and is open to riders of all ages.

Also in the Park

Beach Park, run by Oakley and Deane Parish Council, also has a skate park right next to the track, public tennis courts, a children's play area with a picnic table and seating, a dog exercise area and a basketball hoop on hard-standing.

Getting Here

  • The track is in Beach Park, off Station Road, Oakley, Basingstoke RG23 7HD, next to the skate park and the car park.
  • Access is via the car park off Station Road and the main B3400 Andover Road.
