Located at Lime Kiln Field on Greenhill Road in Alveston, South Gloucestershire (BS35 3QY), the Alveston Pump Track is a 116 m asphalt circuit designed and built by Velosolutions UK. Opened in May 2024 as a community project supported by Alveston Parish Council and South Gloucestershire Council, the track was constructed using aggregates and asphalt donated by Heidelberg Materials UK.
- The pump track features two 180° berms and a double berm on the inner loop, giving riders multiple line choices and opportunities for transfers.
- Its smooth asphalt surface makes it accessible for mountain bikes, BMXs, skateboards and scooters and allows riders to ride year-round in most weather conditions.
- The circuit is suitable for all ages and ability levels, encouraging riders to generate momentum by pumping rather than pedalling, improving balance and coordination.
