Description
Pump Track Wales is a free, tarmac pump track on the western edge of Rhayader in Mid Wales, close to the Elan Valley road. Opened in 2019 as the UK's first split sprint pump track, it uses a mirrored layout so two riders can race side by side, and it is open all year round to bikes, BMX, scooters, skateboards and roller blades.

The Track

Getting Here
Pump Track Wales is on the western side of Rhayader. From the Town Clock in the centre of town, head along West Street past the shops and pubs towards Rhayader Bridge, passing Clive Powell Bike Sales, Repair and Hire. The road dips downhill after the bridge; look for Mid Wales Holiday Lets on the right and turn left directly opposite it. Follow the road to the bottom and round to the left, and the track is on the right.
