Description
Coed y Cain Bike Park in Llanfyllin is a community-led mountain bike project in Llwyn Woods, directly behind Llanfyllin School in Powys, Wales.

The trail network is designed to give riders a clear progression through the site, from first-time trail riding through to more advanced features in a compact woodland setting. The project was developed by Llanfyllin Community Initiative in partnership with Llanfyllin Town Council, with support including Welsh Cycling funding and wider local volunteer and community input.
Trails
Chicken (green): The beginner line, aimed at newer riders building confidence and control on flowing trail features.
Llanthrillin( blue): The intermediate trail, offering a step up in technical riding and progression from the beginner route.
Llwynatic (red): The advanced line, intended for more confident riders looking for a more demanding trail.
Skills Area
A dedicated skills area adds extra space for practice, repeat laps and skill development alongside the main trails.

Access: The trails are located behind Llanfyllin School in Llwyn Woods.

Booking: You need to register to ride using the QR code at the site or on the website.

Closed during school hours.
Monday – Friday 4pm till dusk
Saturday – Sunday – 9am till dusk
