Description

Bike Park Pohorje Maribor is Slovenia's premier bike park, and has hosted the World cup Downhill. In the heart of Pohorje nature, BIKE PARK POHORJE exists. Since 1999, one of our tracks is considered to be the legendary track of the World Championship in Downhill. Bike Park Pohorje is only 60 km from Graz, 250 km from Vienna, 350 km from Budapest.

Trails

FLOW LINE

  • Blue line - (5,5km), height difference 710m, suitable for beginners and families

RED LINE

  • The Red line( 2.9km) is super fast and suitable for advanced and experienced riders

WORLD CUP

  • Black track - (2.1km), altitude difference 465m, is the most difficult, very demanding route, suitable only for riders with a lot of knowledge, experience, or professional riders

Maribor - Slovenia's main Bike Park

If your in Slovenia biking you have to visit Maribor, made famous by the world cup downhills that have been held there its superb example of a bike park. Well maintained and a strong set of "locals" unofficial tracks also available.

What do you like?

Its the Alps! Local women walking up the hill in hotpants and walking boots. Lots of trails Efficient gondola

What could be improved?

Its 28 hours drive from my house Only open March-October
