Description
Bike Park Kranjska Gora is Slovenia's original mountain bike park, set within the Kranjska Gora ski resort in the Gorenjska region. Under new operators MTB Republic since 2025, the park has been significantly renovated and now offers around 20km of trails across green, blue, red and black grades, served by gondola and chairlift uplift.

Slovenia's first dedicated bike park, Bike Park Kranjska Gora opened in 2004 and has had a major revival under MTB Republic, who took over operations in 2025. The park now hosts international races including the IXS European Downhill Cup. It operates on weekends in May and early June, then daily from late June through the summer season.
The Trails
- Green: a long flowing line to the valley with optional table top jumps throughout.
- Blue: two blue options are available. The main DH Veetranz trail takes you deep into the forest with roots and technical sections. A dedicated flow trail (2.6km) is designed for riders looking for a smoother, less extreme experience.
- Red: more technical sections with steeper terrain, roots and demanding features for experienced riders.
- Black and Orange: the most demanding lines including gaps, drops, northshore features and intensive root sections. Multiple lines allow riders to choose their level of commitment on many features.
Uplift
- A gondola and the Vitranc chairlift (updated in 2025) provide uplift to the top of the network, covering approximately 300 metres of vertical.
Facilities
- Bike hire and shop operated by MTB Republic, cafe, bike wash, toilets, visitor centre. Accommodation is widely available in Kranjska Gora resort.
