Description
Newton Stewart BMX Track is a 4-man BMX race track with a Pro Start gate in Douglas Park, beside the River Cree, built by Clark and Kent Contractors. The Newton Stewart Initiative looks after it and is building a BMX cycling club around it.
The Track
- A 4-man BMX race track built by Clark and Kent Contractors, with a Pro Start gate with handrails and steps, berms at each end and perimeter fencing for spectators.
- It is open to BMX, cruiser and mountain bike riders of all levels.
- The Newton Stewart Initiative runs the track and has bikes and helmets to lend to people who want to try it.
- The Initiative is growing a BMX cycling club for riders of all ages, and is looking for volunteers. Email the Development Officer at bmx@newtonstewartinitiative.net to get involved.
