The Velosolutions-built track features a smooth tarmac surface and a compact 165m loop of berms and rollers that suits everything from balance bikes to BMX and MTB. It’s designed for flow and progression — riders can generate speed with momentum rather than pedalling.
Other stuff
The landscaping has been turfed and seeded with wildflowers to help the track blend into the natural surroundings and support biodiversity. Local residents pitched in during construction (barrows at the asphalting stage), and the crew made the most of after-work rides at Ae Forest. Lockerbie is the third pump track in Dumfries & Galloway by Velosolutions UK — it links nicely with Annan and Dumfries for a multi-spot day.
