Description

Knightswood Cycling Pump Track in Knightswood Park, Glasgow, is a looping asphalt pump track beside the Glasgow BMX Centre on Archerhill Road. Glasgow Life describes it as a place for less experienced riders to hone their skills and build their confidence.

The Track

  • The track is a looping asphalt pump track with berms and rollers in a fenced area beside Archerhill Road.
  • Glasgow Life says it gives less experienced riders the chance to hone their skills and build confidence.
  • Small stones can collect on the track edges, so bring a brush to sweep it before you ride.

Also in the Park

  • The Glasgow BMX Centre, a full-size race track built for the 2018 European Championships, is next door, so riders can move from the pump track to the race track.
  • Knightswood Park also has a golf course, a playground and a model boat pond.

Getting Here

  • The track is on Archerhill Road in Knightswood, Glasgow, postcode G13 3LS, with a car park beside the BMX centre.
  • For questions about the track, Glasgow Life's cycling team can be reached at cycling@glasgowlife.org.uk.
