Description

Girvan Academy Pump Track is a free asphalt pump track of about 110 metres in the grounds of Girvan Academy, with views over the Firth of Clyde. Built by Velosolutions, it is open to the public outside school hours.

The Track

The loop has rollers, a double berm and transfer lines, so you can link laps in a few different ways. It is a compact track that works for BMX and mountain bikes. There is no lighting, so plan to ride in daylight.

Getting Here

The track is in the grounds of Girvan Academy, 62 The Avenue, Girvan, KA26 9DW, on the grass beside the school playing fields. It is a working school, so ride outside school hours and keep clear of the school buildings.
