Description

Douglas Pumptrack is a small dirt pump track in the village of Douglas, South Lanarkshire, set on the grass beside the Manse View Terrace play area. It is a short loop of rollers and berms for local riders and beginners to lap.

The Track

  • The track is a dirt loop shaped into rollers and berms, laid out on open grass.
  • It is short enough to lap quickly, which suits younger riders and anyone practising pumping.
  • Because it is dirt, the surface is best ridden when dry, as wet weather softens the berms.

Also in the Park

  • Manse View Terrace play area was refurbished in 2015, with play equipment for junior and toddler age groups.
  • South Lanarkshire Council lists a BMX track on the same site.

Getting Here

  • The track is on Manse View Terrace in Douglas, Lanark, postcode ML11 0PL.
  • The council notes access may be limited by varying surfaces around the site.
