Pump Track
The main loop is a full asphalt pump track laid out as a bidirectional circuit. It is bookended by two matching double berms, giving riders clean entry and exit lines whichever way they choose to run it. The central section is made up of a continuous series of rollers and low mounds, grouped tightly enough to maintain speed without pedalling.
This bidirectional pump track, bookended by double berms, also feeds into a jump line (see below) with three pre-fab jumps ending in a step-up to drop you off where you started.
- Asphalt surfaced throughout
- Bidirectional layout with double berms at each end
- Consistent roller spacing for smooth momentum
- Wide rideable margins and clear sight lines
Jump Line
The jump line sits to one side of the main loop and works as a short, enclosed progression track. It features three pre-fabricated jumps of increasing height and take-off shape, finishing in a step-up that returns riders back toward the start.
- Three jumps with stepped progression
- Final feature is a step-up / platform return
- Separate lane from the main pump track
Other Stuff
The track sits within the open green space of King George V Park with views across the town and the surrounding hills. It is free to use and intended for bikes, scooters and similar wheels. The surface is the standard black asphalt finish used across recent On Track builds, designed for all-weather riding.
As part of the legacy funding from the UCI World Cycling Championship, funding for the facility was provided by Sport Scotland through their Cycle Facilities Fund and the Scottish Government’s Place Based Investment Fund. These have enabled the build of a high quality bike facility in the heart of Clackmannan opposite the Primary School and adjacent to the key active travel route linking Clackmannanshire with Fife and Falkirk.
