The Trails
- A family friendly, accessible bike park with hire available on-site, including eBikes. Two 100m conveyors carry riders to the top of the Lower Zone for the green and lower blue trails.
- More experienced riders can pedal up a purpose-built climb trail to reach the upper blue and red runs.
- Nine flow trails in total, graded:
- Green
- Blue
- Red
- Over 3km of trail in total, with the longest descent running to 1.4km.
- A Pedal Pass covers the whole park: ride the lower zone independently via the conveyor, or pedal all the way to the top to take on every trail. Check prices and book in advance on their website.
- Suitable from age 4 upwards. Under-16s need a responsible adult on site.
Beyond the Trails
Cairngorm Mountain Resort runs year round beyond the bike park. The funicular railway climbs to the Ptarmigan building, the UK's highest restaurant, in around five minutes. The Base Station has a cafe, toilets and a mountain shop, and there is an Adventure Play Park and tubing slides for a rest day. Snowsports take over once winter snow arrives.
Getting Here
The main car park is at Cairngorm Mountain Base Station, Ski Road, Aviemore PH22 1RB, reached via the B9152 from Aviemore, past Glenmore and on to the mountain. Parking is paid. Aviemore has the nearest train station, around 10 miles away, with a seasonal bus service running up Ski Road in summer.
