Description
Auld Gala Park Pump Track is a small concrete pump track in the middle of Gorebridge, Midlothian, and was the first pump track in the county. It is a wavy loop built for BMX bikes, scooters and skateboards, designed and built by Bendcrete Skateparks.
The Track
- A short loop of concrete rollers and turns that riders pump round without pedalling, easy enough for beginners and children and still fun for experienced riders.
- Bendcrete Skateparks designed and built it with Midlothian Council and Gorebridge Community Cares, paid for from housing developers' contributions.
- BMX bikes, scooters and skateboards all use it.
Getting Here
- The track is in Auld Gala Park, off Hunterfield Road in Gorebridge, EH23 4AJ, in the north-west corner of the park beside the path.
