Green Trail (Forest Green)
Gentle forest roads and flowing singletrack make this loop ideal for families and first-time riders. Expect wide turns and smooth surfaces with easy gradients through the west side of the forest.

Pump Track

Facilities
Main car park beside the trailhead with toilets, picnic tables, and a bike wash point. There’s bike hire for the pump track and access to a small café or snack kiosk nearby. Additional food and supplies can be found in Markethill village a few minutes away.
Directions
Located just off the A28 Armagh–Newry Road, Gosford Forest Park is signposted for drivers approaching from either direction. From Armagh, follow the A28 south for around 6 miles; from Newry, travel north for about 15 miles. The trailhead and pump track sit within the main forest entrance on Gosford Road, with parking and signage visible on approach.
Events and Community
Used by families, local clubs and visiting riders year-round. Occasional community rides and dig days take place – always follow waymarking and respect shared forest use.
