Woody's Bike Park, Cornwall's first purpose-built bike park, has announced it will close on 2 August 2026.

Owners Jon and Sarah shared the news in a Facebook post, saying the decision followed “many months” of uncertainty over the park's future. No specific reason for the closure was given.

Woody's opened in 2017 near Par on Cornwall's south coast, offering uplift-assisted downhill and freeride trails across a 110-acre farm. Its runs range from flowing blue lines to technical black and double-black descents, including the Twisted Sister jump trail and the Digger pro line, and the park became known for bringing “West Coast Canada to West Coast England,” attracting riders from across the UK and further afield.

In their post, Jon and Sarah thanked Wayne and Sid for their years of weekend work welcoming riders, as well as the volunteers who helped build and maintain the trails. They said they hope to welcome as many riders as possible in the weeks before the park shuts.

Woody's remains open for uplift and push-up sessions until 2 August 2026; check the park's website for current booking and opening times.
