Two new trails have opened at Badbury Clumps in Oxfordshire, with the Clump Riders community and Ox Trails announcing that Red Kite and Whyburds are now open to ride.

The trails are the result of many months of planning and building by National Trust volunteers working in collaboration with OX Trails. The project was led by Sam Hollis, Oli Overton, and Dan Archer, who developed the concept for both lines and guided the build from start to finish.

Both trails are graded black due to gap features, though rollable B-lines have been built around most gaps to offer an alternative for riders not committing to the jumps.

We also understand there are  “potential” plans in the pipeline for two new Blue trails next year. A good few steps to go through, including preliminary work with the National Trust. We will keep our eyes and ears alert for news on this.

Badbury Clumps is a community-run spot managed by National Trust volunteers and open to all riders. Dig days are held regularly, and upcoming dates can be found in the Events tab on the Badbury Clumps trail listing. To get involved or stay up to date, join the Clump Riders Facebook group or visit OX Trails.
