The Cairngorms-based downhill centre, which sits at 2090 feet (645 metres) above sea level and offers a red and a blue descent along with a skills park, posted the announcement on its Facebook page alongside the video above, urging riders to "dust off those bikes" and keep summer plans flexible.

The post stopped short of revealing what the new developments will be, saying the team has been busy working on exciting new things behind the scenes and promising more details soon.

The Lecht's two downhill trails, the Red Fox and the Blue Hare, are both served by a chairlift and have been closed for multiple seasons. No specific reopening date has been given yet.
