After Warwickshire County Council previously halted the Pooley MTB trail-building and maintenance agreement, there’s now fresh hope as the council has taken action to assess the site.

Pooley Park Mountain Bike Club recently met with a team of professionals brought in by the council to survey the trails and skills area. Their goal is to evaluate the current state of the trails and determine the best approach to bringing them back up to standard—potentially with improvements.
While this is just the first step, it’s a significant one. For six years, the club has passionately maintained these trails, and their abrupt closure put the entire setup at risk. With this new development, there’s optimism that Pooley’s tracks and trails could soon see some much-needed attention.
