Skills Area
Phase 1 focuses on creating a dedicated skills area as a safe and progressive place for riders to learn and develop. The plans described on the fundraising page include beginner-friendly features to help build confidence, along with progressive rollers, small jumps, cornering zones and flow sections. The page also states that the area is intended to create space for coaching, school groups and wider community sessions.
Future Plans
The fundraising page makes clear that the skills area is intended as the foundation for a wider long-term project at Pooley Park. Future plans listed on the page include expanded trail networks, more advanced features and jump lines, inclusive programmes, coached sessions, community events and youth development. The wider aim is to build a riding space that supports progression, community use and long-term local involvement.
