BikePark Wales has released a closer look at the build progress on the new upper section of Watts Occurring. The latest Trail Diaries episode follows the crew as they shape fresh corridor above the AC DC turn-off, giving riders the clearest view yet of how the extended trail will link together.

Watts Occurring today is a 1.25 km Red Blend trail with a Plus designation and is described by BikePark Wales as one of the park’s most varied lines, mixing tech, flow, machine-built jump features, micro-berms, rock garden and a signature final jump. The new top section continues this blend. The team cut new corridor, reinforce softer patches of ground with firmer material, then shape a mix of flowing pump-track style rollers, smooth gaps, doubles and raw hand-cut technical sections so the upper section can feed cleanly into the existing lower trail.
The episode also shows separate improvements on Enter the Dragon. The crew tidy the woods section, define the existing drop, build up the right-hand berm and refresh the rock split lines so that this middle part of the trail better matches the flowy sections above and below.
The episode also includes a short demonstration of trail-building machinery, with remote-controlled vegetation cutters and rock-crushing equipment.
