The original centre, based at Cheverton Farm near Newport, closed in late 2024 after six years of operation. It was known for its green‑ to black‑graded trails, offering both XC and downhill riding in a compact but varied setup. Learn more about the original centre and its trails here.

At the time, the centre's management shared a message of thanks and reflection, noting that while the trails had brought great experiences, behind‑the‑scenes challenges had ultimately led to the decision to step away. You can read our full coverage of the closure in our original article here.

In May 2025, the team confirmed they had secured a new site and shared a photo from the top of the new hill, hinting at what’s to come. Full details of the location, name, and trail plans haven’t yet been released, but the intention is to relaunch the centre under a new name in spring 2026.

The team has confirmed they’ll remain based on the Isle of Wight and will share more updates later this year. We’ll continue to follow the story and update this post as more information becomes available.
