Glyncorrwg Mountain Bike Centre & Campsite: Change of Heart – They’re Staying!

Just over a month after announcing the site was up for sale, Glyncorrwg Mountain Bike Centre & Campsite has confirmed a change of heart: they’re staying.

In a heartfelt update posted to Facebook, Jeff and Ali — who have run the centre since 2017 — said the response from riders, locals and loyal visitors offering help eclipsed even the strong interest from would-be buyers. After years of challenges — COVID’s impact, buying and maintaining the building, trail closures, unexpected costs, and serious health battles — they’d planned to sell. But the community’s support, and their own passion for the place, swung it.

“A few weeks ago we announced that we were selling up… But Glyncorrwg Mountain Bike Centre is our life … we are so passionate about it. We live and breathe it. So … we have decided … WE ARE STAYING … the only way is up from here. If you can continue to support us while we get back on our feet, we are pretty sure that we can come out on top.”

— Jeff & Ali, Glyncorrwg Mountain Bike Centre & Campsite (Facebook)

The message to the MTB community is simple: your support matters now more than ever. If you can visit, ride, spread the word, or lend a hand in any way, they want to hear from you.
