While some sections were previously open, work is now starting on the remaining parts of the trail, prompting a complete closure until further notice.

Riders are urged not to use any part of the blue trail during this period. The team has emphasised that updates will be shared via their official Facebook and Instagram pages. At present, there is no clear timescale for when the trail will reopen, as it depends on the progress of assessments and the completion of the forestry work.

Signage on the trail will be updated as soon as the team can access the site.

Stay tuned for further updates and respect all closures to help maintain rider safety and support trail maintenance efforts.

Woburn is one of the most popular mountain biking destinations in the region, nestled within Aspley Heath—an 800-acre expanse of woodland on the Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire border. On the edge of Woburn Sands village near Milton Keynes, it’s home to two neighbouring but separately managed facilities: Woburn Bike Park and Woburn Bike Trails. Woburn Bike Park features graded dirt jumps, gaps and downhill tracks, while Woburn Bike Trails offers cross-country riding with well-drained red and blue trails suitable for year-round use. A permit is required to ride, and nearby Rushmere also offers additional MTB trail options.
