Alyth Bike Park in Perth, and Kinross in Scotland has just had a fresh round of trail improvement works completed, thanks to support from SSEN Transmission’s Community Benefit Fund. This follows on from when we first reported on plans for the upgrade back in March 2024.

The works were carried out by trail builder Rik with help from a small crew of volunteers, and were coordinated by AHUG (Alyth Hill Users Group). While the overall technical difficulty of the trail remains the same, the spacing and shaping of the features have been adjusted, so riders are advised to take their first run with care.
The recent wet weather should help bed in the new surface, but a bit of raking may still be needed as things settle.
Alyth Bike Park offers a compact but varied setup including a blue loop with optional red features, a pump track, a small jump park, and access to natural trails in the wider area.
