“We first went to Morzine and Chalet Morin in June 2011 for a week’s downhill mountain biking.. The chalet was booked on what was on offer and the facilities available. And we were not let down by anything. Our party was collected from Geneva airport with a big smile (from Paul) and that smile was still there a week later, no matter what we asked for and nothing was too much trouble. If Paul ever takes or collects you from Geneva ask him to take you to the 'Park bench'. The chalet location is a five minute ride to the lifts, half an hour walk or a few minutes ride in the chalet minibus (which will take you anywhere). You may think it’s too far out of town but everything at the chalet makes the five minute easy ride worth it. It has a large garden, ideal for a group of bikers to clean bikes and carry out repairs. Bike washing facilities, secure bike storage and a large hot-tub with an open log fire next to it. Wi-Fi, games, TV. large lounge area, drying room, washing machines, games room. The food was great - breakfast (cooked and cont), packed lunch, cakes and three course evening meal (we were asked what we liked and wanted most days). Even a BBQ one evening. Unlimited supply of beer and wine (which went down well). The staff were so helpful, whether it was a lift or something we needed, their local knowledge of bike runs etc was fantastic. We were made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. We have just returned from our third trip and have already booked again for 2014.

“Have just returned from a great friends and family holiday to Chalet Morin in Morzine. The chalet is fabulous and we love the space and room that we all have to relax. The garden is superb in summer – just under an acre I think – and yet is just on the outskirts of Morzine. Some of the guys like to mountain bike whilst the others entertain themselves at the swimming pool or the lake or just stay at the chalet. We have a group of almost 30 and have already booked for 2013. We first came to stay in 2010 and liked it so much that we came back. Just not next year (2012) because of the Olympics! We prefer to self-cater but as they are so flexible we book dinner every other night for the adults. Excellent value for money at around £15pppn and makes the holiday so much more relaxing. And Paul’s food is just great. I hope we holiday there for many years to come and cannot recommend it highly enough to other large groups of families. We have booked for 2014 for 10 nights as we decided that a week simply wasn’t long enough!
GS August 2013
My family spent a week at Chalet Morin in August 2013. Whilst my wife wanted to relax sunbathe and not have to cook, the rest of the family wanted a bit of adventure. We had an amazing week and there were so many activities to keep us amused that I cannot even start to list them but the highlights were the luge, Fantasticable, Indiana Parc (high wires) and the incredible mountain walks. The weather was glorious and we spent many hours at the outdoor pool. Chalet Morin was fabulous and suited us perfectly – a huge garden which we could relax and play games in and the hot tub was used every day of our stay. Paul and Claire looked after us superbly – nothing was too much trouble – and the food was fabulous. We availed ourselves of the games room and table tennis tournaments are, I believe, a weekly affair. To sum it up Chalet Morin and Morzine are not just for ski holidays, they are for the summer too. So much to do, a great chalet to stay in and excellent hosts. We shared the chalet with other guests which was good fun as we all had loads to chat about over dinner in the evening. But the chalet had so many living rooms that if I wanted a bit of peace and quiet to watch TV or to answer emails, I could easily find a room to myself. And glorious hot weather. We will be back

We went to Chalet Morin in early July for a week’s stay. There were 18 mountain bikers in our group. It was the first time biking but I have been to many chalets in the past snowboarding, so I'm familiar with accommodation in Morzine. For our group this was without doubt the best trip boarding or otherwise we've ever had. Paul and Claire worked so hard to make us have a fantastic stay that I don't think it will ever be topped. The most helpful staff who love where they are and what they do. There's a huge garden for bike maintenance, relaxing in the sun etc so no worries about space. Breakfast was cereal, croissants, bread and a fabulous cooked full English – which set us up for the day’s biking perfectly. Tea was 3 courses and everything we had was brilliant. Loved the Sunday pork roast. There's a huge hot tub for resting aching bodies with a cold beer in hand. The walk into town is around 20 minutes which was no problem for me or the group as it has amazing mountain scenery along the way, saying that we were always offered a lift in anyway, but the walks nice. Brilliant value for money we thought. Without doubt return customers.
