Suffolk Autumn Trail Clean takes place on Saturday 17 October 2026, 11:00 to 13:00, starting from The Playground at Suffolk Food Hall, Ipswich IP9 2AB.
Hosted by Roots Community with Trash Free Trails. As the organisers put it: "Trail cleans are about paying attention to the environment alongside others. It's about slowing down. It creates a new level of connection with the landscape." The team believes that when people feel connected to outdoor spaces, they are more motivated to protect them.
Booking: RSVP on the Trash Free Trails event page to confirm you are coming.
Part of Autumn Trail Cleans 2026 from Trash Free Trails: "1 Weekend, 10 Trail Cleans... This Autumn our community are tackling trash in the places we love, together." Citizen science powered clean-ups run across the UK, from the Scottish Highlands to London canals. This year's focus is drinks containers, around 25% of the single-use pollution found on trails, ahead of the UK Deposit Return Scheme launching in October 2027. Want to run your own? Trash Free Trails has a host your own guide.
