Description
Tignes-Val d'Isère Bikepark is a large lift-served mountain bike park spanning both resorts in the French Alps, with a joint network of over 200km of trails. Between the two sides there are 3 green, 8 blue, 3 red and 8 black graded gravity trails, plus a large enduro and e-MTB route network and several routes you can ride without a lift pass. Tignes sits at high altitude, with a top station around 2,700 metres, so the terrain is rocky and a little exposed rather than wooded, and the trails ride fast. Chairlifts and cable cars serve both villages, and it has one of the longer transfers from the nearest airport of any French Alps bike park: Grenoble is around two and a half hours away by road.

Val d'Isère Bike Park
Right next door and feeding into the same lift network, with lifts departing from the Bellevarde, Fornet and La Daille sectors.
- Popeye - Green, 15km, a long, wide, beginner-friendly run down from Bellevarde
- Blue Lagoon - Blue, 3.5km
- Flowy Jumper - Blue, 9.5km, Val d'Isère's oldest and busiest trail, with several route options
- Fast Wood - Red, 6km, a proper red descent mixing airtime with natural, rocky, forested sections
- Bellev'hard - Black, 4.8km, technical, on natural ground
Beyond these, Val d'Isère runs a large network of named enduro and e-MTB trails and climbs across its three sectors, including Rock'n Ride, Very Bike Trip and Tabasco on the enduro side, and e-MTB loops and climbs such as Val Pesto, Wild Isère, Rogo Mongo, Daï Daï and Petit Alaska. If you'd rather skip the lifts, five lift-free loops (B1, B2, B4, R1 and R2) link the villages on gentler gradients, alongside two further loops (B3, R3) that do use the lifts.
Admission
Both sides of the bike park run on lift passes rather than free access. A single lift ride costs around 10 euros, a day pass is around 23 euros for adults (roughly 11 to 17 euros for reduced categories, depending on age and which village you buy from), and a season pass runs from around 168 to 173 euros. Saturdays have a flat rate of 15 euros for everyone. The lift-free discovery loops (B1, B2, B4, R1 and R2) don't need a pass at all. Prices are correct as of September 2026 but subject to change, so check current rates on tignes.net or valdisere.com before you book.
Getting Here
The park sits in the joint Tignes-Val d'Isère mountain biking region in the French Alps. The main Tignes lift base is around Val Claret and Tignes le Lac, while the Val d'Isère side departs from Val d'Isère village itself. Both are well served by modern chairlifts and cable cars, with free shuttle buses (some with bike trailers) running between the villages. The nearest airport is Grenoble, around two and a half hours away by road, with Chambéry and Geneva as other options.
