Les Deux Alpes Bike Park

Les Deux Alpes Bike Park is a lift-served mountain biking area in the French Alps' Oisans region, with downhill, enduro and cross-country riding dropping from as high as 3,200m on the glacier down to the village at 1,650m. The graded network runs 3 green, 6 blue, 8 red and 3 black pistes, plus two ungraded Elite lines for experts only, alongside three enduro routes and six cross-country and e-MTB itineraries. The whole area covers more than 138km of marked terrain with over 2,300m of vertical descent, served by four lifts through the summer season. Each June the resort hosts Mountain of Hell, one of Europe's biggest mass-start downhill races.

The Trails

• Green (3), Blue (6), Red (8) and Black (3): the main lift-served downhill and bike park pistes, spread across the Diable, Venosc, Vallee Blanche and Jandri sectors.
• Elite (2): ungraded, expert-only lines above black grade.
• Beginner area: a dedicated learner zone at Vallee Blanche has recently doubled in size, alongside a free "Easy to Ride" area with skills modules and a pump track.
• Enduro (3 routes): mixed climbing and descending terrain, including Rocky Line from the Jandri mid-station at 2,600m and Cuculet from the Jandri pass, both through wild, rocky high-mountain ground, plus Petite Aiguille starting from the Chemin des Demoiselles.
• Cross-country and e-MTB (6 routes): waymarked itineraries for pedal-power riders, including Vallons de Bons, La Moliere and Le Thuit, graded from green through to black.
• Mountain of Hell: the resort's own mass-start downhill course, rideable as a normal itinerary outside race week.

Admission and Lift Passes

• The 2026 bike park season runs full-time from 13 June to 30 August, with weekend-only access from 4 May and a Venosc-sector-only pre-season from 11 April.
• A day pass costs 33 euros for an adult or junior, 26 euros for a child or senior, and 24 euros per person for a family group of three or more. Four-hour, six-day and season passes are also available.
• Prices are correct as of September 2026 but subject to change, so check current rates on the official pass site before you book.

Getting Here

• The main bike park lift, Jandri Express, departs from the resort centre at Le Meijotel, 38860 Les Deux Alpes. Bike wash points are at the Diable and Venosc lift bases.
• The nearest airport is Grenoble, around 90 minutes' drive away via Bourg d'Oisans.
• By public transport, Grenoble's main train station is around 70km away. Shuttle services run year-round from Grenoble's Gare Routiere to Les Deux Alpes, taking roughly two and a half hours in total.
• Les Deux Alpes borders its sister MTB base of Alpe d'Huez, also in the Oisans.

Local Events

• Mountain of Hell is Les Deux Alpes' signature MTB event, a mass-start downhill race down the mountain each June. The 2026 edition, the 26th running, took place from 19 to 21 June and drew over 1,000 riders across classic, e-bike and kids' categories.
