Nice easy trails for people to get a taste of mountain biking

What could be improved?

Some trails could do with better berms and more features

Fun, if a lot of techy climbing

Good fun but a lot of gravel road, single track and techy climbing to get to a few more downhill sections, especially on the red trail.

What do you like?

A lot of trail miles, all of decent quality, with some really fun sections.  Excellent facilities around the carpark.

What could be improved?

If you don't at least slightly enjoy technical climbing you should probably skip a fair few sections of these trails.  Can be a bit tricky to navigate in places as the signs blend into the background.

My local

Whinlatter could be so much better if the National Park and Nimby brigade would allow it.

What do you like?

This is an all year all weather centre and the trails hold up well.

What could be improved?

More trails are needed.

Whinlatter

A really fun trail centre with amazing views. Can be a bit short so I would recommend adding in some riding around the area such as Grizedale Pike

What do you like?

Really well maintained with some fast flowing sections

What could be improved?

Very short One climb followed by one descent on each loop
