Whinlatter was the first place I tried mountain biking so it has to be a big yes for skills development as I go back a couple of times a year and it still tests me and leaves me grinning! This is a great addition to the Borrowdale Bash natural route if you have legs left for it at the end of the day!

The mixture of red and blue trails make it ideal for experienced and novice bikers alike. This is the first place a tried mountain biking and the hire bike was good value for money and allowed me to tackle the trails with ease. As my riding has progressed I love the challenge of the north and south face red loops - the climbs can be punishing at times but you are rewarded on the downs!
