Review for Whinlatter Forest Park Mountain Bike Trail Centre

Rode both the north and south loops and some of the blue on a day trip to the lakes and was really impressed with the trails. I had been advised that to avoid the high car parking charges to park at one of the free forestry commission carparks down the hill from the main trail head and pick up the blue trail to get to the start of the red trails and then at the end of the ride pick the blue up again to take me back to the car and this worked out great. Both the north and south loops are basically one big climb followed by one descent with some really nice features added in. Given its position close to Keswick it does get busy but I never really noticed that when out on the trails. This is one of those trails where its worth taking a few pics as you go around as there is some awesome scenery to be seen.
