Description

Waverley Pump Track is an asphalt pump track with a learn-to-ride loop beside it, in the new Waverley development near Rotherham. Olympic champion Ed Clancy opened it in September 2023, and it is open around the clock.

The Track

  • An asphalt pump track runs alongside a traffic-free learn-to-ride loop, so it suits everyone from first-time riders to people practising their pumping.
  • It was funded with a 45,000 pound Places to Ride grant from British Cycling, DCMS and Sport England, with support from Harworth, South Yorkshire Housing Association and Rother Valley Riders.
  • Tuff Riders BMX and Balance Bike School has run free workshops here.

Getting Here

  • By Cherry Wood Way, Waverley, Rotherham, S60 8BX.
