South Cerney Lakes Route
A gentle, roughly 10 mile loop from Spring Lake through the village of South Cerney, out along country lanes and past several Cotswold Water Park lakes, finishing at Cricklade. Flat, family-friendly and easy going rather than technical.
The Route
- Starts at Spring Lake and heads through South Cerney village, then out via bridleway and lakeside paths towards Cricklade, returning through further lanes and bridleway.
- The route crosses a mix of woodland path, gates and stiles, and quiet lanes. As with any rural bridleway route, gates, stiles and rights of way can change: check a current map or GPX before setting off rather than relying on memorised turns.
- Very flat and low intensity throughout, suited to families and less experienced riders.
