Perry Woods
Perry Woods is a mixed woodland site in Selling, near Faversham in Kent. It combines a 16.5km circular cross country loop of bridleways and quiet lanes, much of it rideable on a gravel bike, with an unsanctioned freeride and downhill area built into an old quarry.

The Trails
- The cross country route is a 16.5km circular loop of bridleways and country lanes, roughly 59 percent off-road and 41 percent on quiet lanes. It starts from the same car park as the freeride area, is family friendly with some hills and good views, and is technically easy going, though it can get muddy in wet weather. Freeride Area
- The freeride area is unsanctioned and built into an old quarry, with lines following the natural contours of the crater. A few smaller lines with short gaps and a small table offer a gentle start, but most of the features are taller lips, bigger gaps and classic dirt jumps. The main flow line is good for honing technique, and there are bermed lines and a downhill section too. There is no official map for this area, so download a route or use GPS navigation before you set off.
Getting Here
Perry Wood Car Park is on the lane south of Selling, near Faversham, Kent, postcode ME13 9RP. Heading south from Selling, you will reach the postcode before the car park, so carry on down the lane a little further. At the cross-roads, turn left and the car park will be on your left. Heading north, you will reach the cross-roads before the postcode, but there are signs to turn right at the cross-roads for the car park. The bridleway used for the cross country route runs straight through the car park, so it is easy to navigate from here. For the freeride and downhill area, walk back up the lane to the cross-roads, then take the path heading up the hill, roughly at 11 o'clock, to reach the central quarry.
