Paradise MTB
Paradise MTB is a free downhill, freeride and dirt jump area in Paradise Woods, on the edge of Eastbourne in East Sussex, inside the South Downs National Park. Four numbered downhill tracks and a four line dirt jump area are open to all, formally recognised by Eastbourne Borough Council and looked after by the volunteer Paradise MTB Group.

The Trails
- Track 1: fast, flat and flowy, with a run-around on every jump. The easiest line on site.
- Track 2: fast and flat but more technical than Track 1, with a mini double linking across to Track 1 partway down and run-arounds on most jumps.
- Track 3: steep, with one drop-off and a run of steep switchbacks and off-camber ground.
- Track 4 ("Death"): the hardest line on site, steep and technical with drops into off-camber corners.
- Dirt Jump area: four lines with tabletops, built in an old chalk quarry within the woods.
The chalk substrate rides best when dry.
Getting Here
Paradise Drive, Eastbourne, East Sussex, BN20 7SX. Follow the fire road off Paradise Drive into the woods for about 70 yards: the map board on your right has information about the trail area. There is no dedicated car park, so park considerately on Paradise Drive and be mindful of residents.

The site is looked after by the volunteer Paradise MTB Group, working with Eastbourne Borough Council. Follow their Facebook page and community group for local updates.
