Blue Trail

Famous for its berms the trail is made up of 2 downhill sections with 13 back to back berms on the first descent and 16 on the second. Aside from berms there are small drops, a few jumps (rollable) and some short rock gardens. A pump track downhill feel. The trail is suitable for all ages and abilities.

Oakwell Hall is a great place to park up, ride the trail and then head off to explore the natural trails around the area.

Oakwell Hall wanted a bike track in the park and asked Ride Kirklees if they could help. RK put the idea out to tender with professional trail builders; selected the winning build; raised the £94k needed then managed the build. The trail has been built by Bike Track. Their volunteers now maintain the trail for the park.

General Setup

This is a great wee trail to practice riding berms or go for a play out with the kids. It is short (just under 1 mile) but great for sessioning.
