Description
North Tawton Pump Track is a pump track in the town's Memorial Park, designed and built by Forte Trailscapes and opened in May 2019 as part of a revamp of the park.
The Track
- A surfaced pump track loop with mounds between the lines, designed and built by Forte Trailscapes, with groundworks and surfacing by TK Play of Great Torrington.
- Local young people helped shape the design.
- It opened on 9 May 2019. The park revamp cost more than 100,000 pounds, funded by Section 106 money from the Batheway Fields development, Den Brook Wind Farm, the Durant Trust and North Tawton Town Council.
- A sign at the track sets out safety guidelines for riders.

- A play area with a trampoline, a parent and child swing and a basket swing.
- A fenced multi-use games area and a football pitch.
