Description
Kingsbridge Pump Track is a free asphalt pump track at the Derby Road end of the Recreation Ground, in the South Hams market town of Kingsbridge, Devon. Built by Forte Trailscapes and delivered by Kingsbridge Town Council and South Hams District Council, it is open to riders of bikes, scooters and skateboards of all ages and abilities.
The Track
It is an asphalt loop of rollers and berms, with painted markings on the berms, for riding by pumping rather than pedalling. It takes bikes, scooters and skateboards, and use is free with nothing to book.

Local Organisations
The track came out of a proposal by the Kingsbridge Skatepark Committee. News about the track is posted on the Kingsbridge Pump Track Facebook page. The Recreation Ground belongs to South Hams District Council, and Kingsbridge Town Council backed the project.
Around the Recreation Ground
The wider Recreation Ground has a children's play area, a teenagers' play area, tennis courts and a bowling green, and a cafe in the warmer months. The town's skatepark is separate, at the Quay, about 400 metres away.
Getting Here
The pump track is at the rear of the Recreation Ground, off Derby Road (TQ7 1JJ). The park's main entrance is on Embankment Road (TQ7 1JZ), at the other end of the park. Kingsbridge is on the A381 in the South Hams.
