Hemlock Stone MTB Trails
Hemlock Stone MTB trails are three volunteer-built trails in the woods behind the Hemlock Stone landmark in Stapleford, near Nottingham: two red trails and a black freeride line, all free to ride. The Hemlock Trail Association maintains the site with Broxtowe Borough Council, so it's not aimed at complete beginners, expect steep drop-ins, rollers, table tops, berms and optional gaps.

The Trails
- The OG (Red): A rollable flow line running from tight berms to optional hip jumps and pump bumps.
- Berm Burner (Red): Technical, rough sections with steep corners and high-speed compressions, interlinked with tight berms.
- Freeride (Black): The most demanding trail on site, with large tabletop jumps, a step-up with a mandatory gap, high-speed descents, multiple hip jumps and tight corners. Build up to this one.
Local Organisations
- The Hemlock Trail Association runs monthly maintenance days (last Sunday of every month) with Broxtowe Borough Council. Follow progress on Facebook and Instagram, or visit their website.

Getting Here
- Park at Bramcote Hills Park Car Park, Coventry Lane, Stapleford, NG9 3JT, for vehicles under 2 metres.
- Taller vehicles should use Ilkeston Road Recreation Ground, NG9 8PA.
- Please do not park in the Co-op/Subway car park or on the surrounding residential streets, the association has had complaints from residents.
- Enter the park via the Coventry Lane entrance and follow the path up past the Hemlock Stone; the trails start in the woods by the trig point and are marked with yellow signs.
