Description
Hairy Bob's Skate Park and Pump Track sits on Marine Drive in Scarborough's North Bay, between the headland and the sea. An all-concrete skate park sits right on the seafront, with a pump track running along beside it.
The Track
- The pump track is a loop of rollers and a berm at the north-east end of the skate park, running parallel to Marine Drive.
- It is a good place to warm up before the bowl, or to ride laps on its own.
The Skate Park
- Maverick Industries designed and built the all-concrete skate park, which opened in 2009 and is named after the nearby Hairy Bob's Cave.
- The bowl area has two long, narrow channels, one with an over-vert and the other with an extension, divided by a volcano spine with a pump bump at its end.
- Two speed bowls sit at the ends of the channels, with a hip on one side and a ledge on the top platform leading to a long quarter pipe that opens into the street section.
Also Nearby
- Hairy Bob's Cave is right next to the skate park, and the North Bay promenade runs along Marine Drive.
