A must for any self respecting biker
One of my all time favourite riding spots...
What do you like?
If you love tech this place is it. Some proper steep technical trails but also some fast flowy fun thrown in. Push up is possible at Gawton but if you looking for loads of fun, quick rotations and easy push up Tavi woods is a blast.
What could be improved?
Not ideal for beginners, although Tavi woods is better on that front.

What do you like?
Perfect for beginner to advanced riders, always getting developed and maintained. Great atmosphere. Push up isn't too bad if you are not using uplift, even better if you are in touch with your feminine side and have an electric up hill bike.. Wet weather doesn't affect the trails... Cafe pretty good unless real busy.... So bring pack up just in case. Can't rate this place high enough got me buzzing and back into mtb after 9 years away due to injury. Chaz and his team are a credit to the sport..
What could be improved?
Road into the carpark is in bad need of repair, but the responsibility of local highways not the club. Carpark could do with making bigger but I bet Chaz is already onto it.. James on the up lift run by fly-up downhill needs to take shorter lunch breaks.. He a lazy shite.. Come on James we are waiting..... ?
Final bad point is I'm too unskilled to ride the exiting tracks like the Rattler.. My bad..

Sweet days riding!
Gawton gravity hub is an amazing place to ride and for just £40 a year its well worth it with such a variety of tracks from a very fast flowing hsd and a fast and fun proper job which is great for beginners/amateurs and if u wanna step up the game a bit you can take on supertavi and Egypt which consists of rocks,roots,tight berms and drops all over a very steep gradient which can be quite hairy (not for the faint hearted) you can also ride the rattler a selection of tables and jumps and a road gap into a lovely fast berm which will have you smiling all the way to the bottom! Last but not least the all new track megatavi!!! I can't comment on this as I haven't ridden it yet but all I can say is I've heard it is Steep!!!!!!

Gawton has everything you'll ever need to grin from ear to ear, a true downhill biking venue, great facilities, social atmosphere and the Staff keep this place maintained to a high standard.
