Don't bother unless you are comfortable on very steep downhill runs, this is not for beginners.
What do you like?
Only went to Gawton, but if you want downhill this is up there with the best. I generally find English red routes are easier than Scottish ones, but not here. The "easiest" HSD is probably the hardest red route I've come across.
Great effort for a volunteer made course without access to FC cash.
Unusually starts at the top, so you can have a downhill run straight from the car park, but of course you pay for it later.
What could be improved?
Visited in the middle of a monsoon, so expected it to be slippery, but the clay? based soil left an exceptionally slippery coating over everything.
Allegedly there's a café and changing rooms but nothing was open on my visit.
Would you recommend?
