Disappointing
The place seems to be going out of its way to remove its more advanced mountain biking features and confine cyclists to fire roads. There are far better bike parks available that give more bang per buck.
What do you like?
Short loop, ideal for beginners or family rides.
What could be improved?
£6 for all day parking, none of which seems go towards trail building.
As a seasoned mountain biker the trails were very disappointing. The "No Brains" bike park should be renamed to "No Features" as all the best features have been bulldozed by the forestry commission. The features that still remain are unmarked and unofficial tracks built by locals. All tracks that could be found were relatively short 30 second blasts.
The 4X track could be good however this has been closed and has had trees felled across it in multiple places to ensure no fun can be had.
