Description
Belmont Pump Track is a dirt pump track on Moorfield in Belmont, on the eastern edge of Durham, looked after by Belmont Parish Council. Several lines wind over grassed rollers in the corner of the field.
The Track
- The track is a network of hard-packed dirt lines over grassed rollers, with a turn at each end and linking lines between them.
- Belmont Parish Council looks after it and has it inspected regularly under an agreement with Durham County Council.
The Skate Park
- There is a concrete skate bowl at the community centre end of the field.
Also in the Park
- Belmont Community Centre, at the Sunderland Road end of the field, has play areas next to the skate bowl.
- Moorfield also has football pitches and a multi-use games area.
Getting Here
- Moorfield, off Sunderland Road, Belmont, Durham, DH1 2LL. The track is in the far north-west corner of the field.
