Baddesley Bike Park

Baddesley Bike Park is a small, volunteer-run dirt jump and downhill spot tucked into woodland on The Common at Baddesley Ensor, North Warwickshire, with a handful of short flowy downhill lines graded Green through Orange and a dedicated dirt jump area, occasionally ridden by BMX riders too.

Baddesley Bike Park is a small, volunteer-run dirt jump and downhill spot tucked into woodland on The Common at Baddesley Ensor, North Warwickshire. Expect a handful of short, flowy downhill lines graded Green through Orange on the park's own dot and skull system, plus a dedicated dirt jump area with small to medium jumps, occasionally ridden by BMX riders too. The woodland was generously donated by the Merevale Estate, and everything here is built and maintained by local volunteers.

The Trails

• Downhill lines: Short, flowy downhill trails graded Green, Blue, Red and Orange on the park's own orange dot and skull marker system rather than the standard UK scale, built and kept up by local volunteers.
• Dirt jump park: A dedicated area of small to medium jumps, occasionally ridden by BMX riders too.

Grading here follows the park's own local system rather than the standard UK colour scale, so download a route or use GPS navigation before you set off, or say hello in the Atherstone and Baddesley Bikers Collective group for a steer from regular riders.

Getting Here

Head for The Common in Baddesley Ensor (CV9 2DB) and take the Folly Lane turning at the top of Boot Hill. There is no confirmed formal car park at the site, so park considerately and check the Baddesley Bike Park or Atherstone and Baddesley Bikers Collective Facebook pages for current parking advice from regular riders. The nearest railway station is Atherstone, around 3 miles east.
