Description
Alexandra Park Pump Track is a single asphalt pump track in the Activity Zone at Alexandra Park in Cramlington, Northumberland, with rollers and deep berms in a compact loop. Cramlington Town Council funded it and Clark and Kent Contractors built it, and it sits beside the park's skate park, games court and adventure playground.
The Track
The surface is smooth asphalt, and it takes bikes, scooters and skateboards. Clark and Kent describe the layout as asphalt rollers, sweeping berms and flowing riding lines, and the berms are deep and edged with orange paint, with painted arrows on the surface. Cramlington Town Council describes it as a track for beginners and experienced riders alike, on a BMX, mountain bike or scooter. Helmets are recommended.

Getting Here
Alexandra Park is off Ganton Avenue in Cramlington (NE23 6EL), but the Activity Zone and the pump track are on the Northumbrian Road side of the park, beside the Jubilee Bark Dog Park (NE23 6DB). Cramlington Town Council says there is parking at the Alexandra Park car park and encourages riders to cycle if they can. Bus stops named Alexandra Park are on Northumbrian Road next to the zone.
